The GraduateCenter
The GraduateCenter is the central coordination, advice and service unit for doctoral studies at LMU Munich.
Our mission is to contribute to the further development of doctoral studies at LMU Munich. Our services support (prospective) doctoral researchers, supervisors, and doctoral programs. We adhere to national and international quality standards. Our portfolio includes advice, workshops, funding opportunities, digitization projects, and quality assurance activities. In line with professional research management, we see ourselves as a link between research and administration.
The GraduateCenterLMU is a member of the Arbeitskreis Nachwuchsförderung an bayerischen Universitäten.
LMU Munich is a member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU) where the GraduateCenterLMU is represented in the "Doctoral Studies Community".
Within the framework of EUGLOH – European University Alliance for Global Health, the GraduateCenterLMU develops and implements LMU's activities for doctoral researchers.
